These terms govern your use of the Adherlo mobile application, website, and connected pillbox services operated by Setbase GmbH.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Adherlo app, website, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Description of Service
Adherlo provides a medication adherence platform including a mobile application, optional connected pillbox hardware, and related support services. The app offers medication reminders, intake tracking, adherence analytics, and data sharing features.
User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for accurately reporting information they enter. In clinical-trial deployments, schedules and permitted changes follow the approved study procedures and authorized site instructions. Participants should contact their study site before changing their treatment. Adherlo is a support tool and does not replace professional medical advice.
Account Registration
A valid email address is required for a standard Adherlo account. Study accounts may instead use a site-issued activation code and study identifier. Where supported, an optional verified email address enables account recovery. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and should notify us immediately of any unauthorized account use.
Study Services
Clinical-trial services are governed by the applicable study-specific agreements, which define functionality, responsibilities, support, change control, retention, and closeout. These Terms do not override mandatory participant rights or study-specific obligations.
Privacy and Data
Your use of Adherlo is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Data Protection policy. We process your data only as described in those documents.
Intellectual Property
The Adherlo name, logo, app, and pillbox design are intellectual property of Setbase GmbH. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our software or hardware without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
Adherlo and Setbase GmbH are not liable for damages resulting from misuse of the service, including missed medication doses. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via the app or email.
