Adherlo is committed to protecting your personal data. This Data Protection notice explains how we handle your information in compliance with Swiss data protection law (nFADP) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data Controller
The data controller for Adherlo services is Setbase GmbH, Zürich, Switzerland. All data processing occurs under Swiss jurisdiction.
Data We Collect
We collect only essential data: email address for account creation, language preference for personalization, and medication schedules you voluntarily enter. We do not collect location data, browsing behaviour, or sensitive health information beyond what you provide.
Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data based on your consent (account creation) and our legitimate interest in providing the service. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
Data Storage and Security
All data is stored on encrypted servers within Switzerland. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymized analytics data may be retained longer.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data at any time. You can exercise these rights through the app settings or by contacting support@adherlo.com.
Third-Party Processors
We use trusted infrastructure providers located in Switzerland and the EU for hosting and data processing. All processors are bound by strict data processing agreements.
International Transfers
Your data stays within Switzerland unless you explicitly share it with others (e.g., care team members). We do not transfer data internationally without appropriate safeguards.
